R.Power Expands Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Portfolio in Poland

Polish renewable energy developer, R.Power, has taken a significant step towards bolstering Poland's energy storage capacity. The company has enlisted Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors for a series of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects totaling 2.2GWh.

Strategic Partnerships for Project Financing

  • EDF Renewables and Eurus Energy Holdings have co-invested in two BESS projects, each with a capacity of 500MWh. This strategic partnership brings together the expertise of EDF, a global leader in low-carbon energy, and Eurus, a Japanese renewable energy company.
  • Another 500MWh BESS project will see co-investment from Eiffel Investment Group and Ergy Management. This collaboration unites Eiffel's extensive experience in infrastructure investments with Ergy's expertise in renewable energy project development.
